Does your post sound like AI?

Paste a post or a reply for X. The AI writing checker marks each stock word and habit, tells you why, and gives you a plain swap.

What the AI writing checker looks for

A chat model writes in a default voice. It uses the same words and openers in post after post, and readers on X know that voice from the first line. X's public ranking weights put a reply at 5.0 and a like at 0.66. A post that people scroll past gets no replies, and so it gets little reach. The checker marks six kinds of tells. Each find takes points off the score, and a find in a short post takes off more than the same find in a long post.

Stock words

About 40 words that machine text uses far more than people do. Each one has a plain word to use instead.

delve, tapestry, testament, realm, landscape, leverage, unlock, elevate, seamless, robust, foster, game-changer

Stock lines

Openers and closers from the default chatbot voice. An opener holds back the point, and a closer ends the post like an essay.

“In today's fast-paced world”, “Here's the thing”, “Let that sink in”, “Hope this helps”, “Great question”

Not this, but that

A claim set up by first denying a smaller claim. Now and then, one is fine. Machine text puts one in almost every post.

“It's not a tool, it's a system.” “Not just fast, but reliable.”

Filler and stiff starts

Hedges and essay link words at the start of a sentence. In 280 characters, they take the space of a fact.

“It's important to note that”, “When it comes to”, “Moreover”, “Furthermore”, “Additionally”

Rhythm habits

Three adjectives in a row, and many em dashes. The checker lets one em dash pass and counts from the second.

“fast, intuitive, and powerful”

Emoji and hashtags

Emoji as bullets, the rocket, and three or more hashtags. Readers on X see this template every day.

A post can read human and still beg for likes. The engagement bait checker marks those lines. The viral post checker tests the first line, the detail, and how much the post invites a reply.

Questions

Can this tell if a post was written by AI?

No tool can prove who wrote a text. The checker marks the words and habits that occur far more often in machine text than in posts that people write. You see each find and its reason, and you make the decision.

Why does a post that sounds like AI do worse on X?

Readers on X see the default voice all day, and they scroll past it. A post that sounds like the last ten posts gives a reader no reason to stop and reply. X's public ranking code weighs a reply at 5.0 and a like at 0.66, so a post that gets no replies gets little reach.

Which words make a post sound like AI?

The usual ones are delve, tapestry, testament, realm, landscape, leverage, unlock, elevate, seamless, robust, foster, and game-changer. Stock lines count too:“In today's fast-paced world”, “Let that sink in”, and “Hope this helps”. The checker knows about 40 words and 20 lines, and it gives a plain swap for each.

Is it wrong to draft with AI?

No. The default voice is the problem. Keep your own facts, your numbers, and the way you talk, and cut the stock parts. A draft about what happened to you reads human, whoever typed it.

Why does a short post not get 100?

In a short text, the rules have little to check, so a clean result proves less. Under 30 words, the top score is 70 plus one point for each word. From 30 words, a post with no finds scores 100.

Does Reachr keep my text?

No. The check runs in your browser, so your text does not go to a server. Reachr gets nothing and stores nothing.

Sound like you, to the right people.

Reachr finds the people on X who describe the problem your product solves. It drafts replies and posts from the facts you give it and scores each draft as you edit. You approve what goes out, and Reachr schedules and publishes it.
